Throughout the Capstone Project there were many steps and mini deadlines. Different assignments that had to be completed and turned in at different times. It was important to stay focused and on task. Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity were all key factors for success. We had to be creative when writing our research papers, and also use critical thinking to complete it. Communication was important to be able to meet with our mentors and get out hours done.
I gained a lot throughout the Capstone Project. One of the most important things i learned is how to manage my time. I also learned how important communication is. I learned to speak up more and ask questions when i am confused. I also learned to take risks, and try new things. One of my greatest achievements was realizing i am no longer interested in the medical field.
Some of the challenges i encountered while doing my Capstone project were Procrastination, getting in touch with my mentor, and getting my hours done. In the beginning i was going to do probation but i did not find a mentor so i changed my topic to hoe nursing. My mentor was never really in the office so i had a hard time getting a hold of her. I would call and leave various messages until she could return my calls. I procrastinated, waiting last minute to do my hours, but luckily i was able to get them done.

Fiscal Cliff Response
The democrats and republicans were having a hard time coming to a conclusion. Obama along with most democrats believe in raising the taxes for the wealthy, but not for the middle class. This was one of the plans to cut spending. Democrats seem to have had a more positive view on the outcome of the situation, while republicans seem to have had a more negative one. Republicans want to cut federal spending.
Some things that helped me find my information was using better words, more precise words. Using the words, "democratic and republican opinions." Also using the "~" symbol. I also tried making it simple by typing in "2012 fiscal cliff." I found the most information when i searched, "fiscal cliff 2012 and republican and democrats positions."
